We stayed a week during our parental leave in Änglagård in June 2025 and it was just the perfect spot for calming down with our 1.5 years old son. Before arrival the focus was on the travel itself, getting from a to b and changing sites on a daily basis. Änglagård slowed us down and corrected the focus to spending time with our child - originally we wanted to stay for a night, but the Tina and Michael welcomed us so warmly, showed interest in our little family, our traveling style by bicycle, train and bus and showed us their favorites spots around Gargnäs - we just had to stay:) Our son enjoyed the safe but adventurous surroundings of the resort and also helped us to correct our central european perspective. All in all we can strongly recommend a stay. There is a certain kind of magic to the place that is hard to describe. Go and find it for yourselves!

We loved getting to know you, hearing about your journey by bicycle, train and bus, and seeing Änglagård through your eyes — especially through the curious perspective of your little son. It is wonderful to know that he enjoyed exploring the surroundings and that you felt safe and at ease here with him.
